Ways to Reset and Destress

With the pandemic and the school year coming to an end, things can be very stressful for many. Finals, AP tests, sports, grades, prom, and graduation all at the same time. It is important while these things are happening to be aware of your mental health. It is important to always put yourself and your needs first. From yoga and exercise, to drawing and reading, there are tons of ways to destress and allow yourself to find peace in your overwhelming schedule. Here are just a few:

  • Stop shaming yourself from struggle
  • Write down things you are grateful for
  • Yoga
  • Take a walk
  • Ask for help
  • Exercise
  • Journal 
  • Draw/ write 
  • Spend time outside
