This summer, Anna Scarfo, and Tom Parker, represented the West DECA chapter at Rutgers Camden’s BizEd: Leadership Program. It was a very fulfilling experience in which they gained a lot of useful knowledge to carry with them through life. Not only will this experience help them in the future and also for DECA. This provided them with an eye opening view into the business world. Various professors from the university highlighted important aspects from many business areas. Ranging from Accounting to Marketing, they also implemented the materials outside the classroom.  Through networking and business simulations they created a path into the business world. This afforded them the opportunity to meet business professionals, professors, and the Dean of the university.
